Polyvinyl Pyrrolidone K-90, also known as PVP K-90, is a water-soluble polymer made from the monomer N-vinylpyrrolidone. It is a solid that is white or yellowish and in the form of a powder. PVP K-90 has a significantly higher molecular weight than PVP K-30, resulting in greater viscosity and stronger film-forming properties. It is often used as a binder in pharmaceutical tablets, a film former in personal care products, and as a thickener and stabilizer in industrial applications such as adhesives and coatings.
