PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil is a polyethylene glycol derivative of hydrogenated castor oil. It is a pale yellow to amber viscous liquid or soft solid at room temperature. It functions primarily as a nonionic emulsifier and solubilizer, making it highly effective for incorporating oils, fragrances, and other lipophilic ingredients into aqueous systems. It is widely used in cosmetic and personal care formulations including shampoos, bath oils, skin creams, and fragrance solubilization applications.
