Lauramine Oxide, also known as Laurylamine Oxide and commonly abbreviated as LAO, is a nonionic surfactant. It is a transparent and colorless liquid. The primary use for this surfactant is that it offers long-lasting foam. It can also be used to help build viscosity in formulations and is often used as an emulsifier. Lauramine Oxide is primarily used in Personal Care applications and is found in shampoos, facial cleansers, body washes and many other products. Lauramine Oxide is also used in Household, Industrial & Institutional Cleaning applications and is found in all-purpose cleaners, glass cleaners and other spray cleaners.
