AlternaSurf FAE-9 is a Fatty Alcohol Ethoxylate and is a nonionic surfactant. It is a transparent and slightly yellowish liquid in form. Due to its nonionic classification, our Fatty Alcohol Ethoxylate has very good stability to salts, water hardness, solvents, acids and alkalis. It is an excellent emulsifying agent with detergent properties and there are many advantages for using our Fatty Alcohol Ethoxylate. For one, it does not contain nonylphenol ethoxylate (NPE) which makes it readily biodegradable. Common applications include liquid detergents, laundry detergents (both in liquid and powder form), hard surface cleaners and antibacterial liquid cleaners. The percent active part is 90%.
